⏰ DEADLINES & KEY DATES

Don't Miss Your Filing Window

Critical dates every importer needs to track. Protest deadlines are rolling — your window depends on when your entries were liquidated.

⚠️ First Protest Deadlines Close In:
0Days 0Hours 0Minutes
The earliest IEEPA entries began liquidating in December 2025. With a 180-day protest window, the first deadlines start closing in June 2026. If you imported under IEEPA in early 2025, check your liquidation dates immediately.

How to Calculate Your Deadline

Every entry has its own 180-day protest window. Your deadline isn't today — it depends on when your specific shipment was liquidated.

The 180-Day Protest Window
  • Starts: The date your entry was liquidated (not the date of import)
  • Ends: Exactly 180 days after liquidation
  • Where to Find Liquidation Dates: Check your CBP ACE portal or contact your broker
  • Formula: Liquidation Date + 180 days = Your Protest Deadline
Example:
If your entry liquidated on January 15, 2026
→ Your protest deadline is July 14, 2026

What You Should Do Now

Don't wait for the portal launch. Take these steps today to stay on track:

1

Check Your ACE Portal Access

Verify you can log in and view your entry data. You'll need this information to calculate your personal deadlines and prepare for CAPE submission.

2

Register for ACH Payments

The CBP ACH program is live. Register now to receive your refunds electronically. This is required to receive your money when claims are approved.

3

Identify Your IEEPA Entries

Separate IEEPA duties from Section 301, 232, and AD/CVD. Your broker can help, but you need to know which entries qualify for refund.

4

Note Your Liquidation Dates

Calculate your 180-day protest window for each entry. Document these dates — they're the key to knowing when your deadline arrives.

5

Prepare Your CSV Data

Format your entry data for CAPE submission. The portal will accept CSV files — have yours ready when it launches.
